Basketball Recap: Christian Fellowship's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Friday

On Friday, Christian Fellowship strolled past the Wright City Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 61-47. Given Christian Fellowship's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Wright City is ranked 486th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Christian Fellowship found their leader in sophomore Jake Davis, who went 9 for 17 en route to 23 points in addition to seven assists and three steals. Davis is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brett Conklin, who posted ten points.

Christian Fellowship is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Wright City, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Fellowship has already played their next game (against North Missouri HomeSchool), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wright City has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Clopton.
