Basketball Game Preview: Westfall Mustangs vs. Southeastern Panthers

The Westfall Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Southeastern Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Westfall is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Friday, Westfall was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-42 to Piketon. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly six points.

Meanwhile, Southeastern came up short against Adena on Friday and fell 46-33.

Westfall's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Southeastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Westfall couldn't quite get it done against Southeastern in their previous meeting back in December of 2025 as they fell 60-47. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
