Volleyball Preview: Boardman Spartans vs. Harding Raiders        
        
		
             Boardman is 10-0 against Harding since September of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Monday. The Boardman Spartans will take on the Harding Raiders at 7:00  p.m. Harding took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Boardman, who comes in off a win.
 Last Wednesday,  everything went Boardman's way against Cardinal Mooney as Boardman made off with  a  3-0 victory.
 Boardman's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: keeping Cardinal Mooney between 16 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18,  25-19.
 Boardman found their leader in underclassman  Gianna Commons, who  had six  digs and four  aces. That's the most  aces  Commons has posted since back in August.
 Boardman  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 11  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cardinal Mooney only served five.
 Meanwhile, Harding lost  3-0 to Howland on Thursday.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10,  25-13.
 The  win  got Boardman back to even at 7-7. As for Harding, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record  this season.
 Everything went Boardman's way against Harding in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023 as Boardman made off with  a  3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Boardman since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
