Scott took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They managed a 54-48 win over Woodward. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Clyde ended up a good deal behind Calvert on Saturday and lost 75-56. The Fliers have struggled against the Senecas recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Scott's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-8. As for Clyde, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
