Baseball Recap: Seaside Takes a Loss

Seaside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tillamook Cheesemakers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cheesemakers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 1-0 loss on Friday.

Seaside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Tillamook, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-8.

Seaside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tillamook, they will welcome Molalla at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cheesemakers surely won't give up without a fight.
