Baseball Recap: The Christian Academy Comes Up Short

The Christian Academy's last matchup with Bristol could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Wednesday. The Christian Academy lost 13-1 to Bristol. The defeat continues a trend for The Christian Academy in their meetings with Bristol: they've now lost six in a row.

The Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Judah Gray, who went 1-for-2 with one double. Sam Griffith also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

The Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Bristol, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Looking ahead, The Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Cumberland Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bristol, they will head out to challenge Morrisville at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
