Recap: Morrill Lions vs. Bayard Tigers
The Morrill Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bayard 63-31 on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Morrill.
Pittman Ashwin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. The match was his ninth in a row with at least ten points. Wyatt Hayward was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with nine rebounds and five steals.
Morrill is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Bayard, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Morrill will be playing in front of their home fans against Minatare at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bayard, they will head out on the road to face off against Leyton on Thursday. Leyton is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
