Basketball Recap: Sunnyside Comes Up Short

Sunnyside saw some tournament action on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to the Mingus Marauders.

Sunnyside has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Mingus, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7.

Sunnyside's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bradshaw Mountain at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mingus, they will challenge Lee Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lee Williams is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50 points per game this season.
