Volleyball Recap: Clear Fork Takes a Loss

Clear Fork lost against River Valley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Colts came up short against the Vikings, falling 3-0. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11, 25-10.

Rozy Stover paced Clear Fork's offense, picking up eight kills. Stover got some help from Brinly Epneris and her seven assists.

Leading River Valley to victory were Arianna Osborne and Colette Osborne. Arianna had 16 digs and four aces, while Colette hit 68.8% for 11 kills and seven digs and four aces. With that strong performance, Arianna is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

Clear Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for River Valley, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 11-8.

Clear Fork has already played their next contest (against Galion), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for River Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Ontario on the 7th.
