Basketball Recap: Springfield Continues Road Dominance on Monday

Springfield won the last time they faced Chichester and things went their way on Monday too. The Springfield Cougars came out on top against the Chichester Eagles by a score of 55-45. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Eagles are ranked 312th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Springfield's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Chichester, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Springfield and Interboro will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on December 30th. As for Chichester, they are taking a road trip to challenge Garnet Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
