Aidan Suitor was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Suitor was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
Suitor wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brady Goe, who went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Like Classical Academy, Bishop's also got a great game from a two-way player: Hugo Avila- marquez. On the mound, Avila- marquez didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Meanwhile, Alex Moreno tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Avila- marquez scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Moreno scored two runs while going 2-for-2.
Classical Academy now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Bishop's, their win bumped their record up to 6-10-1.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Classical Academy beat Bishop's by a score of 11-10.
