Baseball Game Preview: Beaver Falls Tigers vs. Mohawk Area Warriors

Beaver Falls is 0-10 against Mohawk Area since April of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Beaver Falls has given up an average of 9.7 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Beaver Falls lost 17-3 to Quaker Valley on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Mohawk Area fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Riverside on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-4. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Vinny Pezzuolo was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kamren O'Lare, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Beaver Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Mohawk Area, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1-1.

Beaver Falls might still be hurting after the 16-0 defeat they got from Mohawk Area in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
