Despite the loss, Vernon still got an impressive performance from Key'Maria Mcbride, who posted 15 points and four steals. Mcbride is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 16 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Marhianna Johnson, who put up eight points.

Vernon's loss dropped their record down to 21-10. As for Early, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-13.

Vernon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Early, they have already played their next game, a 51-42 defeat against Clyde on the 14th.
