Recap: Tradition Prep Pirates vs. Master's Academy Patriots
The Tradition Prep Pirates had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against Master's Academy by a score of 39-28. This was payback for Tradition Prep, who suffered a 42-11 loss the last time these two teams met.
Despite the defeat, Master's Academy had strong showings from Carissa Hennessey, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals, and Alison Viersma, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Tradition Prep's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Master's Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tradition Prep will take on Calvary Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Master's Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pineapple Cove Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on November 28th.
