Soccer Recap: Pleasant Grove Comes Up Short

Pleasant Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Lamar Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-3 back in February.

Pleasant Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15-2. As for North Lamar, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7-2 record this season.

Pleasant Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Lamar, they will face off against Pine Tree at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
