After a string of three wins, Mountain View's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 6-3 to the King's Way Christian Knights.

Logan Josephsen and Dylan Knox did some serious damage despite the final result: Josephsen went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Knox got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one double. That stolen base was Knox's first of the season. Nick Wilcox was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for King's Way Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain View will take on Kelso at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Hilanders will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Thunder surely won't give up without a fight. As for King's Way Christian, they are taking a road trip to take on Stevenson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
