Basketball Recap: Lamesa Takes a Loss

Lamesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the San Angelo Central Bobcats, falling 54-21. The Tornadoes lost against the Bobcats in their previous head to head back in December of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 42-36 score last time.

Lamesa's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for San Angelo Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-11.

Lamesa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-31 loss against Liberty on the 14th. San Angelo Central and Estacado will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Angelo Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
