Volleyball Recap: Northmor Comes Up Short

If Northmor was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mansfield Christian on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Knights came up short against the Loudonville Redbirds on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Golden Knights haven't had much luck with the Redbirds recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-15.

Madi Abrams paced Northmor's offense, picking up seven kills. Abrams got some help from Cami Workman and her 12 assists. Casey Kincaid and Ava Walters kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Addison Wolford had a dynamite game For Loudonville., getting 19 digs and six assists.

Northmor's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Loudonville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Northmor will head out on the road to take on Johnstown-Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loudonville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Central Christian on the 9th.
