Basketball Recap: Reeltown Finds Playoff Glory Versus Loachapoka

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Reeltown walked away with it. They snuck past the Loachapoka Indians with a 41-36 victory on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 33-27 last Tuesday.

When it comes to explaining why Loachapoka lost, don't look at Sanaa Drummond. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points and four steals. That's the most points Drummond has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Amanda Harris, who scored eight points and five boards.

The win (which was Reeltown's third in a row) raised their record to 5-9. As for Loachapoka, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Reeltown is taking a road trip to square off against Lanett at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Lanett will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Reeltown surely won't give up without a fight. Loachapoka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
