Baseball Recap: Mountain House Comes Up Short

Mountain House was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 11-5 to the East Union Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-4 last Monday.

Lennox Morgan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Tommy Neri was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Mountain House's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14-1. As for East Union, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-9.

While Mountain House had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
