After a string of four wins, Dardanelle's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 56-41 bruising from the Pottsville Apaches. The Sand Lizards were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Apaches apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Dardanelle's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-8. As for Pottsville, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.

Dardanelle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 43-31 win against Waldron on the 31st. As for Pottsville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-40 victory against Mena on the 31st.
