Basketball Recap: Shorewood's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Shorewood can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They secured a 64-59 W over the St. Francis Mariners.

Despite the defeat, St. Francis had strong showings from Josh Green, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 16 points and three steals, and Dai'Lend Jett, who went 6 for 10 en route to 16 points. Zach Perry also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Shorewood's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for St. Francis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

Shorewood will venture away from home to square off against Greenfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenfield will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Shorewood surely won't give up without a fight. St. Francis has already played their next matchup (against University School of Milwaukee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
