Softball Recap: Lake Forest Takes a Loss

If Lake Forest was feeling good fresh off their 15-2 takedown of Waukegan on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Scouts came up short against the Rolling Meadows Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 15-0. The Scouts haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lake Forest's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Rolling Meadows, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-9 record.

Lake Forest didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-0 defeat against Libertyville on the 23rd. As for Rolling Meadows, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-2 loss against Hersey on the 23rd.
