Volleyball Recap: Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils vs. Morgan Huskies
Coginchaug Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Morgan Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 2nd.
While Coginchaug Regional ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 24-26, 25-17.
Addison Costa paced Coginchaug Regional's offense, picking up 11 kills. Costa got some help from Peyton Smolley and her ten assists. Costa was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
