Soccer Game Preview: Lisbon vs. Winthrop + How To Watch

The Lisbon Greyhounds will head out on the road to square off against the Winthrop Ramblers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lisbon's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Lisbon's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Richmond, sneaking past 1-0.

Meanwhile, Winthrop and Lake Region finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Lisbon's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6-1. Winthrop's draw makes their record 4-2-2 this season.

Lisbon couldn't quite get it done against Winthrop in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Greyhounds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
