Basketball Game Preview: Fairfax Lions vs. Hylton Bulldogs

The Fairfax Lions and the Hylton Bulldogs will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Neither Fairfax nor Hylton posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

On Tuesday, Fairfax came up short against Westfield and fell 34-23. The loss was the Lions' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Hylton was beaten by Potomac Senior 61-14 on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Hylton and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Fairfax, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Fairfax took their victory against Hylton when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 48-28. Does Fairfax have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hylton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
