Volleyball Game Preview: Loyola Academy Ramblers vs. St. Francis Spartans

The Loyola Academy Ramblers will head out on the road to face off against the St. Francis Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Loyola Academy came up short against Marist and fell 2-0. The Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15.

Meanwhile, St. Francis entered their tilt with Batavia on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0.

Loyola Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for St. Francis, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.

Loyola Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Francis in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Ramblers repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
