It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 62-13, which was the final score in Royal Palm Beach's tilt against Boynton Beach on Thursday. Meanwhile, Seminole Ridge pushed their score all the way to 57 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Dwyer 62-57.
Royal Palm Beach's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.3 points per game. As for Seminole Ridge, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
Royal Palm Beach was dealt a bruising 71-18 loss at the hands of Seminole Ridge when the teams last played back in January of 2020. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Royal Palm Beach was down 46-9.
