Pillager has gone 9-1 against Verndale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pillager Huskies will be home for the holidays to greet the Verndale Pirates at 7:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Pillager came up short against Henning and fell 60-52. The defeat continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Verndale had just enough and edged Sebeka out 55-52 on Friday.

Verndale now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Pillager, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
