Volleyball Recap: San Jose Comes Up Short

San Jose was the 2-0 winner over Pacific Bay Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Saturday.

Leading Pacific Bay Christian to victory were Katelyn Cheng and Nicole Khim. Cheng had seven digs and three aces, while Khim had six kills and three digs. That's the most aces Cheng has posted over her last four contests.

San Jose's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Pacific Bay Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

San Jose didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Del Mar on the 27th. As for Pacific Bay Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Design Tech on the 30th.
