There's no place like home for Morro Bay, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Templeton Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Eagles on September 6th, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Morro Bay had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 25-21, 27-25.

Morro Bay's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 17-19. As for Templeton, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-15.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Morro Bay and Paso Robles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Templeton, they will venture away from home to square off against Mission College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
