Minto had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They managed a 53-49 victory over the Fort Yukon Eagles on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Lakers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Minto's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Fort Yukon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Minto didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 80-58 victory against Walter Northway on the 8th. Fort Yukon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
