Baseball Recap: Keystone Oaks Comes Up Short

After flying high against Brownsville on Wednesday, Keystone Oaks came back down to earth. The Golden Eagles fell just short of the Waynesburg Central Raiders by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Golden Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Keystone Oaks' loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Waynesburg Central, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

While Keystone Oaks had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
