Baseball Recap: Stonewall Comes Up Short

Stonewall was the 4-2 winner over Kingston when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Stonewall fell 5-1 to Kingston on Thursday. The matchup marked the Longhorns' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Stonewall's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Kingston, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Stonewall will take on Whitesboro at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Whitesboro will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Stonewall surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kingston, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Valliant at 3:00 p.m. on April 8.
