Football Game Preview: West Iredell Warriors vs. Bandys Trojans

The West Iredell Warriors are taking a road trip to face off against the Bandys Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Iredell is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

On Friday, West Iredell was just a hair shy of victory and fell 37-36 to Newton-Conover.

Despite the loss, West Iredell got top-tier performance from Amario Spence, who rushed for 166 yards and three scores on only 12 carries. Ja'Braylan Patterson was another key player, throwing for 171 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Bandys came up short against Maiden on Friday and fell 41-34. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Bandys' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for West Iredell, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-4.
