Harvest Prep Academy led Charter 2A (8 Man) in scoring this week by notching 68 points on Mission Heights Prep. M.J. Ybarra threw for 184 yards and 5 touchdowns and ran for 60 yards during the win.
Harvest Prep Academy led the league in points allowed with 26.
William Theobold's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Ruben Anaya chipped in 67 yards. Gerardo Nunez helped Harvest Prep Academy's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 23 yards.
Anaya was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 67 yards on 6 carries as Harvest Prep Academy bested Mission Heights Prep. Teammate Ybarra added to the ground attack by rushing for 60 yards.
Ybarra has thrown for 885 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Martin has 18 catches for 458 yards.
An important game coming up in Charter 2A (8 Man) this week will be when Apache Trail takes on Skyline Tech. At the moment, the Wolfpack are in first, while Skyline Tech is in fifth.
