Softball Recap: Beulah Wins Going Away Against Valley

Beulah had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Valley on Thursday. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Rams. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Madyson Snedigar was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madison Tapley, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Grant, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

The victory got Beulah back to even at 15-15-1. As for Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.

Beulah will have a chance to go back-to-back against Valley: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
