Basketball Recap: Lutheran Northwest Takes a Loss

After soaring to 68 points the game before, Lutheran Northwest was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against Michigan Math & Science, falling 41-20. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Crusaders have suffered since December 13, 2024.

Lutheran Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Michigan Math & Science, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Coming up, Lutheran Northwest will head out on the road to take on New Haven at 7:00 p.m. on February 26th. New Haven will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lutheran Northwest surely won't give up without a fight. As for Michigan Math & Science, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Frontier International Academy at 5:00 p.m. Frontier International Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Michigan Math & Science likes a good challenge.
