Softball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Wilson Central's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Wilson Central got themselves on the board against Rockvale on Friday, but Rockvale never followed suit. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Rockvale. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Rockvale, too.

Mallory Lee was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Adelynn Perry, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Wilson Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Rockvale, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Wilson Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-2 victory against Zion Christian Academy on the 12th. As for Rockvale, they have also already played their next game, a 6-0 defeat against Summit on the 12th.
