Recap: Carlisle Christian Academy Knights vs. Red Lion Christian Swordsmen
The Carlisle Christian Academy Knights were the 54-49 winner over the Red Lion Christian Swordsmen when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Carlisle Christian Academy fell 50-38 to Red Lion Christian on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Carlisle Christian Academy has scored all season.
Carlisle Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Gabe Kearney, who scored 17 points. The matchup was Kearney's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Wevodau, who scored nine points.
This is the second loss in a row for Carlisle Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 5-2. As for Red Lion Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Lebanon Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Carlisle Christian Academy will host Lebanon Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Red Lion Christian will host them at 6:30 p.m. on January 12th.
