Vista Ridge has gone 9-1 against McNeil recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vista Ridge Rangers are taking a road trip to take on the McNeil Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Vista Ridge has three straight victories, McNeil has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Vista Ridge beat Vandegrift 68-61. Given the Rangers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Vipers are ranked 104th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, McNeil was beaten by Vandegrift 65-22 on Friday.

Vista Ridge's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for McNeil, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Vista Ridge strolled past McNeil in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 59-44. Will Vista Ridge repeat their success, or does McNeil have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
