Soccer Game Preview: McKinney vs. Prosper

McKinney hasn't had much luck against Prosper recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The McKinney Lions will head out on the road to take on the Prosper Eagles at 7:30 p.m. McKinney's last seven games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

McKinney is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Neither they nor Plano West could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 draw. That draw made it three straight for the Lions.

Meanwhile, while the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Prosper who was credited with the victory on Tuesday. Prosper got it done in the shootout by posting two goals to Plano's one. Julian Jang had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Eagles.

With that draw, McKinney's record moves to 1-2-4. As for Prosper, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
