Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bloomfield). They strolled past the Hot Springs Tigers with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 53-37. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Hot Springs' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Andrea Luna, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards, and Alex Gonzales, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Gonzales is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last 13 games she's played.

Bloomfield's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Hot Springs, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Bloomfield has already played their next match, a 39-34 win against Aztec on the 23rd. As for Hot Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-40 victory against Chaparral on the 21st.
