Recap: Adams Central Patriots vs. Northwest Vikings
Make it six blowout wins for the Adams Central Patriots this season. Everything went their way against Northwest on Thursday as Adams Central made off with a 57-36 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Adams Central has posted since December 1, 2023.
Several Vikings players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jolie O?hara, who scored 12 points along with two steals. Emersyn Graves was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds.
Adams Central pushed their record up to 11-2 with that victory, which was their 17th straight on the road. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
Adams Central will head out on the road to challenge Grand Island Central Catholic on Saturday. Grand Island Central Catholic has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Northwest, they will be playing in front of their home fans against York at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully York focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Saturday.
