While Northwestern's win against Crestview wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Cougars on Saturday. The win continues a trend for Northwestern in their matchups with Crestview: they've now won three in a row.

Keagan Kostohryz and Mario Rodriguez scored both of Northwestern's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

The victory got Northwestern back to even at 1-1-1. As for Crestview, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Northwestern will face off against Hillsdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwestern are facing Hillsdale at the right time seeing as Hillsdale are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Crestview, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mansfield Christian at 7:00 p.m. on September 2.
