Basketball Recap: East Jackson Comes Up Short

East Jackson lost against Grass Lake back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The East Jackson Trojans came up short against the Grass Lake Warriors, falling 59-37. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Warriors are ranked 31st).

East Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Grass Lake, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Coming up, East Jackson will be playing in front of their home fans against Milan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grass Lake, they will head out on the road to square off against Western at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th.
