Softball Recap: Perrydale Takes a Loss

The Perrydale Pirates didn't have quite enough to beat the Country Christian Cougars on Friday and fell 6-4. The match marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Perrydale saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addie Parr, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Perrydale's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Country Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Coming up, Perrydale will look to defend their home field on Monday against Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 10.8 runs per game this season. As for Country Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge St. Paul at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
