Basketball Recap: Minnetonka Takes a Loss

Minnetonka was the 78-75 winner over Shakopee when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Minnetonka Skippers fell 65-55 to the Shakopee Sabers on Wednesday.

Minnetonka now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Shakopee, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Minnetonka will square off against Waconia at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Shakopee, they will challenge Edina at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Edina knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Shakopee likes a good challenge.
