Volleyball Recap: Woodson Finds Home Court Redemption Against South County + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Woodson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the South County Stallions 3-0 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Cavaliers: when they faced off against the Stallions back in September, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

While Woodson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 26-24, 25-19.

Woodson had a senior duo take command as Bridget Morgan had 11 digs and three aces and AbbieLynn Sayas had five digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Sayas.

Woodson was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They are 6-3 when they serve at least ten aces.

Woodson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-12 record this season. As for South County, they dropped their record down to 7-17 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Woodson nor the Stallions have any future games scheduled.
