Softball Recap: Glide Comes Up Short

Glide lost against Douglas on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 4-3. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glide saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aryanna Belloir, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Another was Lillian Lee, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Glide's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Douglas, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Trojans beat Glide by a score of 7-3 later that day.
